Zanzibar to Nyerere National park

Pick from your hotel in zanzibar earlier morning to catch up with the first boat going to Dar es Salaam. When you arrive there you will be picked up from ferry and proceed to Selous you will arrive there at the hotel in the afternoon for your lunch. Late afternoon go for boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River.
You will discover the Rufiji River by boat, and encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 1000 bird species have been recorded in the Selous Game Reserve. These are typical of miombo woodlands, predators birds and the bird water supported by Rufiji swamplands is of particular interest. Dinner and over night at Selous Safari Lodge.

Game Drive in Selous/ Nyerere National Park

Immediately after the breakfast at the Lodge you will start the safari with your packed lunch Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) is the largest in Africa, covering 54,600 square kilometers. So the animals which will be spotted there are elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bush buck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus and more to see till afternoon stop to have the lunch on a good picnic with a view of the lake with hippos and crocodiles after proceed with the game drive till late in the evening and drive out to Nyerere tented camp.

Bush Walking Safari & Visit Maasai Village

The Bush offers the a unique, intimate experience with the African wildness, the adventure begins in the morning, guided by an armed ranger, and last for about two and half hour. This walk gives you an opportunity to learn about the nature around you, the survival tactics of bush people, and how wildlife thrives in the area. During the walk you will also have a chance to spot the "small five " animals.
After the safari you will return for breakfast, and then we will visit at maasai village to learn about the culture and traditions of the maasai people. Once the visit is complete, we will check out and drive back to Dar-es-salaam. You will then catch the boat to zanzibar, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
