Your shared road transfer departs OR Tambo and heads northeast, approximately 5-6 hours to Safari Moon Luxury Bush Lodge inside Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. South Africa's safari capital.
The estate sits on the boundary of Balule Nature Reserve, one of the largest privately managed wildlife areas in the Greater Kruger ecosystem, covering over 58,000 hectares of unfenced wilderness with Kruger National Park.
Pridelands, your private game traversing concession, is a single road crossing from the estate. There is no transfer through town. There is no public vehicle queue. Within 15 minutes of pick-up, your your qualified guide has the open vehicle across the road and into Pridelands for the evening drive.
The concession is not open to the public. As the day cools and the light shifts to gold, the private traversing routes produce the kind of sightings that cannot be scheduled, and that shared public-access roads cannot protect. This is where the experience pays for itself.

Early departure each morning for Orpen Gate, 60 minutes from the lodge. Orpen feeds into Kruger's western sector: productive predator and elephant country, quieter than the southern gates at Phabeni or Malelane.
Three full days means more ground covered and more time in the heart of the bush. Each day builds on the last. Different routes. Different light. Different animal behaviour. No two days in Kruger run the same.
Breakfast and lunch are built into the route at Kruger rest camps and picnic stops. The vehicle does not leave until late afternoon. Full day means the full day, not a morning drive padded with lodge time.
We do not run large groups or convoy. Your guide works your sightings.
You return to Safari Moon each afternoon. Named lodge. Qualified guide. What you see is up to the bush. The vehicle, the guide, and three full days to find what a single day cannot.
Each evening back at the lodge, dinner under the African sky and the sounds of Balule before the bush goes quiet.

For those who want to use the morning: an optional sunrise drive in Pridelands is available at R1,390 per person. Private traversing routes at their quietest, peak predator activity, golden-hour light, and limited vehicles on the concession. The same private concession, at the hour when the bush is most alive.
Breakfast follows at Safari Moon. This is not a hotel buffet. Safari Moon is the kind of property that attracts discerning guests who could stay anywhere. Take the morning at your own pace, eat well, and let the lodge do what it does before departure.
Your transfer departs for OR Tambo after breakfast. Approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, arriving early to mid-evening.
