After breakfast in Arusha, depart with a packed lunch for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, passing through the Maasai steppe. Once inside the park, explore its iconic baobab-dotted landscapes and search for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and more. Bird sightings may include ostrich, Ashy Starling, and African Scops Owl.
Enjoy your picnic lunch in the park before continuing with a game drive. Later, drive to your public campsite near the park for dinner and overnight under the stars.

Day 2
Serengeti national park

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive is long but incredibly scenic, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands and into the vast open plains. As you enter the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name means "endless plains" landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see.
The Serengeti is home to the Great Migration, with over 2 million wildebeest, zebras, and antelope, as well as iconic predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you explore this world-famous ecosystem.
In the evening, head to your public campsite in the central Serengeti for a hot dinner and night under the stars.

Day 3
From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti the best time to catch wildlife in action and enjoy one of Africa’s most breathtaking mornings. After the game drive, return to camp for a hearty brunch, then begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World, the Ngorongoro Crater spans 102 square miles and shelters nearly every species found in East Africa including the rare black rhino, massive tusked elephants, lions, buffaloes, and a vibrant soda lake teeming with flamingos.
Arrive in the late afternoon and settle at Simba Public Campsite, perched at the crater rim, for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a haven for wildlife. Keep an eye out for the Big Five, as well as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots inside the crater.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure with Diana Tanzania Safaris.
