Day 1

Upon your arrival at the airport, our company representative will be waiting for you (you will recognize him holding a special board with your name on it). You will be transferred directly to your accommodations in Arusha. On the way, you will get to learn more about the people and culture of Tanzania.

After checking in at your hotel and some relaxation, you will be shown around Arusha city. We’ll visit the local market, the Maasai market, the Cultural Heritage Museum, the Arusha City Museum, and other interesting parts of the city.

Day 2

Tarangire Park Game Drive

Tarangire Park Game Drive

Today will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park. It takes only 2.5 hours (120km) to drive to the park's entrance. You will have about 10 minutes to use the washroom at the park’s entrance while your guide completes the legal formalities at the Park Authority Offices. You will do a morning game drive as well as an afternoon to sunset game drive in this beautiful park (lunch is included).

Later in the evening, you will head to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Today your trip will start early in the morning after a hot breakfast. It will take about 4-5 hours (250km) to drive to Serengeti National Park. Along the way you will enjoy a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You can take a peek into the crater before arriving at the Serengeti entrance gate.

You’ll go on an afternoon game drive after lunch until sunset, at which point you’ll head to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Today you’ll leave the lodge as early as possible for a sunrise game drive in the best national park in Africa. You will spend time in different areas of the park in search of wildlife. The Serengeti offers groups of cats, beautiful savannah, and an abundance of wild animals.

After lunch and an afternoon game drive, you will exit the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite. You will be staying at the rim of the crater in order to start your game drive very early in the morning tomorrow.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast at 7:00am, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. At mid-day, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. You will see big elephant bulls and the vulnerable black rhino with flok of flamingos.

The crater is also home to large herds of wildebeests, zebras, Thomson and Grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and close to 500 bird species.

We will have enough time to search for “Big Five” inside the crater. After lunch, our guide will guide you out of the crater en route to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport. In Arusha you will meet our team before you depart so we can congratulate you on your safari and wish you a safe journey home.
