Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

Have an early morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park. Check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive. Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland. In the southern area, there is a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms. The park is known as the best place to view large herds of elephants up close. There is an immense view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is across the border of Kenya and Tanzania. It is also dominated by vast Lake Amboseli which is dry outside the rainy season. There are more than 600 species of birds in the park. You will spend your night at the lodge.

Explore Amboseli National Park

You'll rise up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast (at an extra cost). The visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Left carefree, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Amboseli-Lake Naivasha National Park

We'll have an early morning drive to Lake Naivasha. It is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. At 1910m (6200f), the water is fresh and the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptian once used this to make paper). Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400 species). There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. An optional boat ride can be organized at an extra cost. You will also visit Crescent Island. This is a private Island on Lake Naivasha that rose to fame after the 1985 movie “Out of Africa” that showcased the beautiful nature of Lake Naivasha and its surrounding. It can be described as a garden, an animal sanctuary or simply a little paradise. The amazing thing is that you get to talk a nature walk among these animals without fear of harm or danger. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru National Reserve

You will have an early morning pick up, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Arrive in the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara Full Time

You will be taken on two game drives in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography. This is a bush experience that will surely create lifetime memories. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Want an unforgettable sight?
