Day 1

Leave Nairobi in the morning at 8.00 am and drive to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara for lunch at the lodge. This will be followed by an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2

Explore The Great Mara

Explore The Great Mara

You'll have a full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah. It also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya. You will go to the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Masai Mara is one of Africa's most lush reserves, renowned for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats due to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. All the Big 5 can easily be seen here. You can also choose to take part in optional activities such Hot air balloon safari or a visit to Masai village at an extra cost. Return to the Lodge later and spend the evening at leisure then have dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3

Maasai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park

Maasai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll have a pre-breakfast game drive then return to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru with hot lunch en-route at Mai Mahiu town, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park late in the afternoon. You’ll have an afternoon game viewing drive. The rest of the day will be spent searching for park residents. Apart from the large population of Flamingoes that Lake Nakuru is known for, the park is also home to a significant population of all the Big 5 except the Elephant. Black and white rhinos, hippos, waterbuck, Burchell’s zebra, Thomson’s gazelle among others are all common here. Check out of the park later and drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at Nakuru National Park, proceed to Amboseli National Park with lunch en-route. The park is famous for its scenery, which includes the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! It’s just one of many reasons the park is second most popular in Kenya – only Masai Mara draws more visitors. You will have an evening game drive if time allows. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Have a game drive at Amboseli

After breakfast, get your picnic lunches packed and depart for a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park. This park has a significant population of the Big 5 as well as other animals such as gazelles, giraffes, zebras, hyenas among others. Amboseli is also a photographer’s paradise. Those wonderful photos you’ve seen of elephants seemingly posing in front of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro were taken here. On your game drives in Amboseli’s great horizons you will spot wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles and of course, cheetahs and lions. You will choose to have an optional tour to a Maasai village to experience their traditional way of life and dances or Hot air balloon safari at an extra cost. You'll return to lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
