Itinerary Summary:
Meet Guide: At the airport or Manzini (2-2.5 hour drive to the airport or 1.5 hours drive to the nearest town).
Visit to Manzini: Explore the local market.
Travel to Malolotja: Pass through the local supermarket, purchase supplies, and stay overnight near Malolotja Nature Reserve.
Park Visit: About 1 1-hour drive passing the capital. Depending on time, enjoy a short walk or arrange for a guided hike in the morning.
Dinner: Prepare a BBQ at the lodge.
Next Day Excursions: Guided hike (if not done the previous night), breakfast, then visit Ngwenya Glass and Ngwenya Iron Ore Mine.

After breakfast at the park, we will check out and head to our next destination, Ngwenya Glass. Our first stop will be the Ngwenya Mine, where you will experience the site of the oldest known mining activity, dating back to the bushmen and their rock paintings.

Following the mine visit, Ngwenya Glass is renowned for its excellent shopping opportunities. You can browse and purchase unique gifts, souvenirs, and locally made crafts. You may choose to sit and enjoy a coffee while watching artisans craft glass items through live glass blowing demonstrations—it's a lively and fascinating experience.
After watching the artisans at work, you'll also have the chance to buy some of the beautifully made glass products as souvenirs. We will then head off to Mbabane city to go for a walk in the city and then head down to Mlilwane our next accommodation.

In the morning at Mlilwane, you can wake up early and enjoy a self-guided walk around Wilderness Court. The trails are well-marked, making it a perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature's serenity. After your walk, your guide will meet you around 9 am at the restaurant.
There, you will enjoy a captivating traditional dance performance by local artists. While some may find it very touristic, it’s genuinely worth experiencing—the local community and even other visitors love watching it, including your guide!
After the dance show, you'll have the chance to visit the museum if you're interested in learning about Swaziland's history.
Next, we'll go to the village of KaPhunga for an authentic experience of rural village life, where your guide lives within the community, so it’s a real, not fake, village. You will learn about traditional rural customs, meet local villagers in their natural environment, and enjoy activities like playing football with kids and visiting local families.

Day 4

In the Morning of day 4, we wake up early in the village If you feel fresher and relaxed, you will be going for an early walk through the community towards the viewpoint. The walk is 30 minutes there and back. Upon return, you will have breakfast. If you stay with us during the weekday, then a good chance that there will be school and you can visit the local school, which is about a 5-minute walk from our home. Meet the kids and the education system in Eswatini.
After the school visit, we will go straight to Hlane National Park, where you will enjoy a 2.5-hour safari, which will start at 1 pm. Hlane has the best chance of seeing animals. We hope that at this stage, your time with us has been great since this activity marks the end of the tour.
