You will head to Erindi Game Reserve which is located southeast of Omaruru. Erindi is a spectacularly scenic, protected reserve in northwestern Namibia. "Erindi", meaning "the place of water", boasts incredible lush scenery. Stretching over 79,000 hectares, this natural wonderland features comfortable accommodation options and magnificent landscapes encompassing grasslands, savannahs, and rugged mountains inhabited by an abundance of diverse wildlife.

Included activities: Afternoon game drive to view elephants, giraffes, rhinos, lions, hyenas, zebras, kudus, wildebeests and many other animals.

Erindi Game Reserve to Twyfelfontein

Today you head into one of the most beautiful desert regions in Namibia - Damaraland. It is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings and UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site in 2007.

Day 4

Twyfelfontein to Etosha National Park

Twyfelfontein to Etosha National Park

You will depart to Etosha National Park and stay for 2 nights. The park’s main characteristic is a salt pan so large it can be seen from space. There is abundant wildlife that congregates around the waterholes, giving you almost guaranteed game sightings. Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa. The concentration of big game around the waterholes makes game viewing incredibly rewarding. You do not even have to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhinos, antelopes and zebras quenching their thirst.

Etosha National Park to Grootfontein

Etosha National Park to Grootfontein

Have an early breakfast and then depart to Grootfontein (meaning "Big Fountain"). Grootfontein is famous for being home to the largest meteorite ever discovered on Earth (located roughly 25 kilometres from the town centre). Along the way, you will make a stop at Tsumeb for some shopping and to visit the Bushmen village.

Included activities: Visit Mangetti National Park (home to elephant, eland, wildebeest, kudu, sable, steenbok, duiker, Burchell's zebra, common impala, gemsbok, and giraffe).

Day 7

Grootfontein to Divundu

Grootfontein to Divundu

Have an early breakfast and then depart to the Okavango River and visit the Mahango Game Reserve Park where we will see animals and huge baobabs. Today's episode is not too long and we should arrive in the early afternoon. The road leads through Caprivi and the area of the Bwabata National Park. The route is decorated with "beware of elephants" road signs. This is the route of the largest population of elephants migrating from Chobe to Zambezi.

Included activity: A visit to the Mahango Game Reserve Park (home to herds of elephant as well as hippo, buffalo, giraffe, antelope, and many other animals).

Divundu to Kasane

After breakfast, you will cross the border of Botswana and reach Kasane, the largest town in this region with a slight architectural characteristic of Botswana. The area has the largest concentration of elephants in the world. Elephant migrations take place very close to the city limits. On the access road, be very careful because huge herds like to run across the main road. In Kasane, we will go on a boat trip on the Chobe River. During the cruise, we will observe many wild animals.

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park which is renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife, including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them - a visit to the Chobe River Front guarantees close encounters with an array of African wildlife. Clients have breakfast and have a full day of safari game viewing.
