Arrive at Kigali Airport where our safari driver guide will receive you from – he will later transfer you to Kigali city which is Rwanda’s capital, its where you will have Dinner. If time allows, you will have a visit to the famous Rwanda Genocide Memorial.

Day 2

After breakfast, immediately leave Kigali City and start the drive north wards crossing into Uganda through Katuna boarder to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with exciting views of the countryside.
Head out to Kyambura gorge Forest also known the underground forest for Chimpanzee trekking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. The stunning Kyambura (or Chambura) Gorge also called the “Valley of Apes” is located in the far eastern corner of the well- known Queen Elizabeth National Park in south western Uganda. The landscape is among the most impressive you will find in Uganda and it is swarmed a rich wildlife bio-diversity that comprises of primates, wild animals as well as birds.

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in a cool morning after breakfast. Go for an early game drive that exposes you to diverse savannah game, including some members of Big 5 - Elephants, Buffaloes and big cats – Lions and Leopards. Other small animals include warthogs - Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents of this park spotted along the Circuits as you drive along.
There is rich bird diversity especially the family of storks in the wetlands and the lesser flamingoes in the salt lakes. After lunch, it is time for the 2pm boat cruise along Kazinga channel, which lasts 2 hours. Here you have the chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and more along the banks of the channel.

Day 4

Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna, via cultivated hills to jungle covered mountains. If you reach early, take a village walk and mix with the local Batwa pygmies who will entertain you with exciting performances and traditional songs.

Day 5

Have breakfast and get ready for the big highlight of this safari. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to the forest giants - mountain gorillas; and on this day, you get to meet them. You will set off into the forest with a specialized guide, trek through beautiful nature and finally get to spend one hour in the area where the mountain gorillas live.
But besides the gorillas, this Impenetrable forest is filled with birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hogs, Forest Elephants, Sitatungas and forest duikers.
After the trek transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, located amidst the terraced hills of Kabale. You may take a leisurely canoe tour to explore some lush islands that make up this lake.

Day 6

Transfer back to Kigali

Transfer back to Kigali

At sunrise, you will have breakfast and then go for an amazing boat trip on the numerous islands on this lake. Lake Bunyonyi has about 29 islands and each of these islands have got a unique story that your local boat and site guide will help you out in interpreting. After the 1 hour boat trip, you will checkout of your lodge and then head back to Kigali, Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre and this will mark the end of our Tour.
