Pause in the scenic Seronera Valley for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wild, surrounded by sweeping plains and the sounds of nature. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, and crocodiles. After breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 3–4 hours’ drive from Arusha), where you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. This magnificent caldera was formed by a massive volcanic eruption and today serves as a natural sanctuary for an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive on the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served near the hippo pool, allowing you to relax while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and drive to Karatu, where you will stay at a comfortable camp or lodge. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your lodge in Karatu.
