You will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will stop at the Equator for photos and a short stretch before continuing to Mbarara for lunch.
The journey rewards you with some of Uganda’s most beautiful scenery—long-horned Ankole cattle grazing across open plains, rolling tea plantations, thick woodlands, the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment, and on a clear day, the snow-capped peaks of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. The drive from Kampala to the park takes approximately six hours.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and relax, soaking in the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, beautifully set between the Rift Valley and the towering Rwenzori Mountains. This area is rich in wildlife, so keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, and more, all against the backdrop of scenic crater lakes.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers incredible close-up views of elephants cooling off at the shoreline, large pods of hippos, crocodiles basking in the sun, and a wide variety of birds such as fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, and flamingos. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Evening Game Drive in Ishasha
After breakfast, set out for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes.” Walk through the lush forested gorge as you listen to the calls of birds and primates. With luck, you may spot chimpanzees swinging through the trees or resting within the canopy, offering a memorable encounter in their natural habitat.
Later, continue to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. As you drive through the open savannah, keep your camera ready and scan the fig trees for these unique big cats lounging on the branches. Afterwards, proceed to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4
Transfer back to Entebbe
Transfer back to Entebbe
You will set off early for your return drive to Entebbe, enjoying the beautiful countryside and vibrant towns along the way. The journey offers scenic views of rolling hills, farmlands, and local trading centers. You will make a stop at the Equator for photos and a chance to pick up souvenirs before continuing to the city, arriving later in the day.
