Day 1

After an early breakfast, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will stop at the Equator for photographs and a short stretch before continuing to Mbarara for lunch. The journey then takes you through some of Uganda’s most captivating landscapes the long-horned Ankole cattle grazing in open grasslands, rolling tea plantations, thick woodlands, the Rift Valley Escarpment, and the snow capped peaks of the mystical Rwenzori Mountains. The drive from Kampala to the park takes about six hours.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and take time to relax as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains, set between the Rwenzori Mountains and Rift Valley. Look out for Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Uganda Kobs, and more, while enjoying the stunning crater lake views of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Return for lunch, then take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Expect close encounters with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds including Fish Eagles, Kingfishers, Pelicans, and Flamingos. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3

After breakfast, set out for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in the Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes.” Walk through the lush forest as you listen to the calls of birds and primates, and with luck, spot chimpanzees swinging through the trees. Later, continue your journey to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you drive through the Savannah, scanning the fig trees for these unique big cats before heading to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4
Transfer back to Entebbe
Transfer back to Entebbe
