Head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, beautifully set between the Rift Valley and the towering Rwenzori Mountains. This area is rich in wildlife, so keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, and more, all against the backdrop of scenic crater lakes.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers incredible close-up views of elephants cooling off at the shoreline, large pods of hippos, crocodiles basking in the sun, and a wide variety of birds such as fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, and flamingos. With luck, you may spot chimpanzees swinging through the trees or resting within the canopy, offering a memorable encounter in their natural habitat.

Later, continue to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. As you drive through the open savannah, keep your camera ready and scan the fig trees for these unique big cats lounging on the branches. Afterwards, proceed to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
