Upon your arrival at the airport, a Ro Scavenger Safaris representative will be there to greet you and provide transportation to your accommodation in Arusha. Day 2
Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your Arusha safari guide will pick you up. We'll head to Tarangire National Park, passing through Masai plains with colorful locals. Tarangire is famous for elephants and diverse wildlife. From our open jeep, explore swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River. Expect zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, and maybe lions or leopards.
After the game drive, we'll check into our lodge for a comfy stay and dinner. Your spacious room is perfect to relax and cherish the day's adventures, looking forward to more wildlife encounters.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up and get ready! Today, we have an early start as we make our way to the beautiful highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Our destination this morning is the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder of Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As we approach the rim of the crater, we'll descend a steep trail into the 600-meter deep caldera, where we'll have the opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife, open grasslands, numerous bird species, and a lake. This enormous collapsed volcano is the habitat for more than 25,000 mammals, including the famous "Big Five" animals and other creatures like spotted hyenas, alongside over 500 different bird species found in the area. Following an extensive wildlife safari and a picnic lunch within the crater, we'll proceed to your accommodation in Karatu, where you'll enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 4
Lake Manyara to Stone Town
Lake Manyara to Stone Town
After your morning meal, you'll embark on the concluding leg of your exciting safari journey towards Lake Manyara National Park, situated 120km west of Arusha. This park is comparatively compact yet incredibly diverse. Its main feature is the shallow, fluctuating salt lake, which sprawls across a significant portion of the park. This lake undergoes seasonal flooding and drying, hosting thousands of flamingos and more than 500 other bird species. During your park exploration, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, if you're fortunate, tree-dwelling lions. Lake Manyara is celebrated for its diverse terrain, encompassing not only open grassy plains but also wooded areas teeming with primates and dramatic cliffs adorned with baobab trees. Following a satisfying lunch, you'll return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. From there, you'll catch your fly to the picturesque destination of Zanzibar.

You'll be heading to Nungwi, a once-famous dhow construction hub at the northern tip of Zanzibar Island. Now, it's a thriving tourist spot, thanks to its splendid beach and breathtaking sunsets. Here, tradition and modernity collide. The main draws are water activities like diving, snorkeling, and fishing, with dive spots on the east coast and near Mnemba Island and Tumbatu Island's reefs. Nungwi's unique geography and tides make it suitable for swimming anytime. You can also enjoy yoga, cycling, and guided village tours.
