Your adventure starts at a comfortable lodge at Victoria Falls. We are happy to assist with pre-safari arrangements including transfers (extra cost) from the airport to the lodge. Day 2

Victoria Falls to Northern Chobe

Victoria Falls to Northern Chobe

Today you will have a leisurely breakfast at your lodge. The lodge reception will advise the departure time of your transfer to Botswana where you will meet up with your guide. Chobe National Park will be your next destination. En-route to your campsite in Chobe National Park you will go drinks shopping. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions.

Northern Chobe

Northern Chobe

Enjoy game drives in search for wildlife in the Northern Chobe and floodplains with its diverse and striking landscapes. Look out for the huge elephant herds that come to drink at the Chobe River and the rest of the big five that are frequently seen in this game-rich park.

As you continue your search for wildlife, you will move campsites and traverse to the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. You will enjoy game drives to explore this area. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions.

Chobe River – Savuti: 170km, 5-6h (transfer and game drive).

Day 5-7

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, as the sun rises you will make your way to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. The next three days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. You will spend 3 nights exploring this wonderful Game Reserve, at two different camp sites. Game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions.

Savuti – Moremi 120km, 7-8h (transfer and game drive).

Day 8

Moremi Game Reserve to Maun

Moremi Game Reserve to Maun

Leaving the Moremi area, you will start making your way towards the Okavango Delta, you will camp and refresh at a stunning campsite outskirts of Maun for the night. This afternoon you will have the option of doing a 30min flight in a helicopter with no windows and doors, allowing magnificent views from above. Rate TBA by your guide/agent. Campsite has permanent ablution facilities.

Day 9-10

Maun to Okavango Delta

Maun to Okavango Delta

Today, your adventure will take you to the southern tip of the Okavango Delta. Once you have reached the edge of the Delta, you will meet your polers from the local community with their mokoro (traditional dugout canoes). Quietly cruising along reed lined channels and floodplains, you will enjoy the spectacular landscape of this unique region during the transfer taking you deeper inside the Delta. You will spend two days exploring this area with mokoro excursions and guided nature walks on the islands and floodplains of the Okavango, camping wild with bush ablutions on a small island for two nights.

Campsite outskirts of Maun– Okavango Delta 50km, 1.5-2h

NOTE: You will leave your main luggage in the trailer and pack a smaller bag with what you need for the 2 days. Transfers from the mainland to the island where you will stay are done on traditional dugout canoes which cannot accommodate large bags. Main luggage will safely remain in the vehicle that will be parked in a secured area.
