On your arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up by a representative. You will get briefed about the safari. Then, you'll be transferred for a city tour visiting the Genocide memorial site, which gives a brief history of the country you are visiting.
You will have lunch on the way. After lunch, you will visit the community cultural Village to enjoy the Rwandan culture, including the traditional dance. Iby’iwacu Cultural Village is a Non-Profit umbrella organization that aims at improving the lives of reformed poachers and communities around Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park through the provision of conservation incentives, supporting community enterprise development, and livelihood-based projects.

Day 2
Cross to Uganda at Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Rwanda-Uganda border. Then, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, whose twisting water body dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water will amaze you. You will spend your evening just relaxing at the lakeside since Bunyonyi is known as a place for stress relief.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will relax at your hotel until lunchtime. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 – 2,478m.
It is said to be the second deepest lake in Africa. It is one of the few African lakes completely safe for swimming— there is no bilharzia.
You will head out for zip lining, you will head to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas.
You will either have lunch on the way or at your hotel. You'll check in at your lodge; prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip: tracking mountain gorillas!

Day 4

After breakfast, you will head to the park's head offices with your guide and have a briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the park with gorillas.
After the briefing, you will head for gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest. Trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours. This is based on the location of the gentle giants. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 27 frog species, among others, and covers an area of 331 sq km.
Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets
At the end of this long and exciting adventure, you'll return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower, and then have lunch.
In the evening, you will head out for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that has lived in the forest for 500,000 years, and enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains. The Ishasha sector is notably recognized for its resident tree-climbing lions that are an exceptional attraction and one of the highlights on all safaris taken within Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the southern section of this park, the lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees, whereas the Uganda Kob (which are the major food to these lions) graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.
When you arrive in Ishasha, you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees.
After a game drive in Ishasha, it's time to move to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is also Uganda’s most popular tourist destination.
You will have an evening game drive aiming to catch the lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler.

You'll start at 6:00 am for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. You'll also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, and waterbucks.
You will then have your lunch and then head out for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see large numbers of buffalo, elephants, and hippos.

Day 7

After your breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Kibale via the tourism city Fort Portal, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori. The route is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the lush green countryside that characterizes so much of Uganda. The last hour of the journey will take you through dense forest and the sounds of the wild. You'll reach in the evening hours, relax at the hotel, or go for a nature walk.

Day 8

Your day begins with an early start for chimpanzee tracking, which typically takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. After the trek, you'll return to the resort for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Swamp, a lush rainforest area teeming with biodiversity, including various monkey species, birds, and occasionally forest elephants.
Later, you'll drive to Semuliki National Park for a guided nature walk upon arrival. The park is home to 53 mammal species, including 27 large mammals. Eleven of these are endemic, such as the pygmy antelope and two flying squirrel species. Semuliki also shelters the rare and unusual water chevrotain, often referred to as the “fanged deer.”.

You'll begin your day with a morning game drive through Semuliki National Park, offering a chance to spot a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat.
In the evening, you'll enjoy a guided nature walk, followed by a relaxing fishing experience along the Semuliki River, known for its rich aquatic life and scenic beauty.
Later, you will proceed to lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
