Pick up from your Arusha hotel and drive to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Though smaller in mammal numbers than other northern parks, Lake Manyara offers unique experiences with diverse landscapes including the Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and stunning mountains. The park surrounds an alkaline lake, home to hundreds of bird species. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your Karatu accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Game drive Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your Kojuu Safaris driver-guide and chef will pick you up and drive you to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for game viewing. Serengeti, covering nearly 15,000 sq km, is known as “the endless plains” by the nomadic Maasai. You’ll be amazed by the vast wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino. Famous for the annual migration and stunning landscapes, the park offers a rich variety of species. After game viewing, you’ll drive to your lodge inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Game drive in Serengeti

Awaken to the sounds of Africa, freshen up, and head to the main area for breakfast. Afterward, your driver-guide will pick you up for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. If you love wildlife, this is the perfect place to be. Home to around 3,000 lions—made famous by Disney’s “The Lion King”—they are easy to spot as they often rest for up to 20 hours a day. You’ll also see bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, and birds like the kori bustard and Fischer’s lovebird. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Game drive Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, known as the “8th Wonder of the World,” for a full-day game drive. This well-preserved volcanic caldera, located 190 km from Arusha, is a sanctuary for over 25,000 large mammals including lions, leopards, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, and baboons. After ascending from the crater, you will return to your accommodation in Arusha. Alternatively, you may fly to Zanzibar—please book flights departing after 8:00 PM for domestic or 9:00 PM for international.
