Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from your residence in Nairobi at 7:00 am. Your safari takes you to Masai Mara National Reserve and into the domain of the Masai, Kenya’s cattle-herding nomads determined to preserve their traditions. The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. When Westerners think of Africa and safari, this is the place they imagine — golden grassland plains pocked with acacia, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals bound together by the cycle of life and death. Three days here will only scratch at the surface of the wonders of the Mara.
You will arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch and check in at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, you'll embark on an evening game drive until late evening when you settle for dinner and overnight. Your overnight accommodation will be at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve Full-Day Exploration

Today, you will spend the full day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity to spot the Big Five — lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives with a hot lunch in the safari lodge. All meals and overnight stays will be at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

In the early morning after breakfast at your camp, you will check out of the camp and park and drive to Nairobi with an en-route game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. You will be having lunch on the way. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your respective hotel, residence, or airport.
