On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be met at the airport and take a shared transfer to your guest house for 2 nights. Shongwe Lookout is set in the leafy, quiet suburbs, with a refreshing pool and manicured gardens. The en-suite rooms are comfortable and well laid out, overlooking the gardens and main area. Climb the stars to the elevated platform overlooking the trees and towards the Falls, ideal for a sunset drink.
You will have a full day to explore Victoria Falls at your own pace. A short taxi ride takes you into town to browse the stone-carving markets. You can visit all the main viewing points, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, try a helicopter flight over the Falls, go white-water rafting or take a guided walk along the rainforest trails. There are also opportunities for wildlife encounters nearby, including elephant back rides and game drives, giving you a rich variety of experiences in this iconic destination.

Day 3-4

After breakfast and a leisurely morning, you will take a shared transfer over the border to Kasane and to the lovely tented camp on the banks of the Chobe, called Jackalberry Chobe. Crossing the border is straightforward, and you will arrive at camp in good time to settle in. Jackalberry Chobe offers elevated tents on wooden decks, some facing the river, others with partial river views, and some overlooking the surrounding bush. All tents have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and a comfortable sitting area. The main lodge features a welcoming pool, spacious deck, fire pit, and dining area, set on a quiet stretch of the river.
Twice daily game activities are included, led by experienced local guides. These comprise morning and afternoon game drives through Chobe National Park and scenic boat cruises along the river, giving excellent opportunities to spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. The park gate and jetty are an easy 20-minute drive from the lodge.

Day 5

Transfer to Kasane Airport in time for a small light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango for the last 3 nights of this epic safari. You will fly to Okuti, a camp with some of the best game-viewing territory in the Okavango. Okuti’s excellent location in the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta ensures a combination of permanent water access for year-round water activities & large dry areas for game drive routes.
Okuti has unique reed & canvas rooms, exceptionally unique in style and architecture all rooms overlook the permanent Maunachira channel. Each en-suite bathroom provides both an indoor & outdoor shower. Connected by raised wooden walkways all areas of camp are wheelchair accessible.
Enjoy game drives in the very picturesque Moremi area, which has excellent game viewing due to its widely varied & protected habitats which support a huge variety of wildlife. Cruise the waterways & open lagoons to see heronries, excellent birdlife and aquatic animals like hippos.

Day 6-7

Okuti offers a mix of water and land activities year-round, set within a habitat rich in wildlife, including sitatunga antelope, leopards, and abundant birdlife. This variety of environments ensures you enjoy consistently excellent game viewing.
Motorboat excursions reveal the Delta’s incredible bird, plant, and reptile species, while guided game drives explore the floodplains and islands in comfortable vehicles. Each drive carries a maximum of four guests, with a personal camera mount for uninterrupted photography.
Mokoro trips through the quieter waterways allow a closer connection with the Delta’s hidden channels, complementing fishing, birding walks, and photographic safaris. Together, these activities provide a fully immersive Okavango experience, combining land and water encounters with exceptional wildlife observation throughout your stay.
