Day 1

Pick-up in Arusha and exploring Lake Natron

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up in Arusha to drive to Lake Natron. It will take at least 5 hours, of which 3 hours are on a rough road. You will arrive at Lake Natron Maasai Guesthouse, where a hot lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you will hike to the waterfalls and go to Lake Natron for sunset. Dinner will be served in the guesthouse.

Exploring Lake Natron and Maasai culture

Experience sunrise at the lake at 6 am or just enjoy breakfast, depending on your preference. You will drive to the "small Serengeti" and return to the Maasai guesthouse for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the village and a Maasai boma to learn more about the Maasai culture. Dinner will be served at the guesthouse.

Day 3

Entering Serengeti

Entering Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Klein's Gate, where you enter the Serengeti NP in the northern part. Here you will face thousands of zebras and wildebeest. The game drive will show you the endless plains of the Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plains" in the Maasai language. Your campsite will be in Central Serengeti, where the cook will prepare a delicious dinner. After dinner, you will listen to the sounds of the Serengeti at night.

Exploring the Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will go on a game drive to explore the Central Serengeti. You will see lions, zebras, antelopes and buffalo. You will drive back to the camp for a hot lunch. In the late afternoon, you will go on another game drive, and if you are lucky, you will see a hunting lion. Dinner is prepared in the camp.

Day 5

From Serengeti to Ngorongoro

From Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will leave the Serengeti at Naabi Gate and enter the Ngorongoro Highlands. You will descend into the crater and see the magnificent surroundings of the Ngorongoro Crater, with abundant wildlife. You will have lunch by a hippo pool, where you can see these beautiful animals. In the afternoon, you will see lions (if you are lucky) who are resting after hunting. Dinner will be served at the campsite.

Exploring Lake Manyara National Park

The campsite is on the upper side of the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park, so no need to have an early breakfast. Lake Manyara NP is famous for its tree-climbing lions, so if you are lucky, you can spot them. Around Lake Manyara, you can spot many birds like flamingos, pelicans, storks and herons. You will also see giraffes and elephants wandering around in the park. In the afternoon, you will return to the campsite with a magnificent view over Lake Manyara NP. Here you can relax, and dinner will be served.

The end: Tarangire NP to Arusha

The end: Tarangire NP to Arusha

After breakfast, you will head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a lunchbox. Tarangire is especially known for the huge number of elephant families and the baobab trees. There is a river that runs through the middle of the park, where many animals can be spotted coming to drink. At the end of the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha.
