A warm welcome to Namibia, the soul of Africa! Once you’ve touched down in Windhoek and collected all your rental vehicles, you will be met by one of our representatives who will brief you in detail about your self-drive safari and guide you to your rental vehicle. After you are done with your paperwork, you'll head the road to Kalahari for your one-night stay at Bagatelle Game Ranch Lodge. You'll arrive in time for your lunch (own account). The afternoon is spent on your first day embarking on an unforgettable hike, encountering some of Namibia’s indigenous wildlife, including cheetahs, as you wander the scorched earth. You’ll also be invited to head out on a fascinating bushmen walk where you learn all about the fascinating San people and enjoy demonstrations of their ancient traditions. You'll return and freshen up for your dinner. The rest of the night is at your leisure.

Today just after the scrumptious breakfast at Kalahari Desert. You'll head the road to Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei). You'll arrive mid-afternoon at Kulala Desert Lodge for your two-night stay. You'll have lunch en route (own account). After checking in and meeting with your local guide, you'll go on a nature drive with a sundowner. You will return to the lodge for your dinner. At night, you'll relax and unwind in your luxury suite before you enjoy an unforgettable stargazing experience. Your local guide will brief you about the wake-up call for the next day's exciting activities.

Day 3

This morning after an early wake-up call, you will meet at the lobby where you will have coffee/tea and rusk. You will set off for the Sossusvlei excursion on the road to Namib Naukluft Park. The earlier you leave to join the queue to the entrance for Sossusvlei, the better. You'll stand the chance to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft, and the shadows accentuate the towering shapes and curves of the dunes. Afterward, you'll have the most awesome experience of climbing the highest dune called Big Daddy at Sossusvlei. Once you explore Sossusvlei and Deadvlei and the surrounding dune fields you will enjoy a relaxed picnic brunch in the shade of a camelthorn tree. You'll return to the lodge in the early afternoon in time for a late lunch. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Today, you'll head to the road just after your breakfast to Swakopmund through a scenic attractive drive that takes you northwest through amazing and ever-changing desert landscapes of the Namib Naukluft National Park, including the impressive Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyon via Kuiseb Pass. You will meet the coast at the port town of Walvis Bay and then continue north to Swakopmund where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler coastal breeze for your next two nights. You'll enjoy lunch en route (own account). After checking in, you'll freshen up for dinner and explore the town along the waterfront on foot, before the dinner at the local restaurant. This morning is taking you on a most incredible activity to Walvis Bay. You'll meet with the local guide and depart on a day Sandwich Harbour tour. You'll check in at 8:00 am at the waterfront and your guide will brief you before you off on the most exciting activity. You'll return to the waterfront where you will collect your car and have lunch at your account. You'll return to Swakopmund and the rest of the day can be spent at your leisure. Swakopmund offers a variety of activities. You can check with your accommodation if you want to spend the afternoon on one of the activities. You'll freshen up for your dinner. The rest of the night is on your siesta.

Swakopmund to Damaraland

Today, you'll continue with your safari to the north and east into the diverse Damaraland while appreciating the marvelous scenery of the area. Lunch is had en route (own account). You'll pass Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg which peaks at 2,573 m above sea level, and take time to view the game and absorb the vastness of the scenery along the way. You will enjoy the spectacular landscape of Damaraland and the stunning views. The astonishing mountainous region of Damaraland is up next, an area home to a spectacular assortment of desert-adapted wildlife, ancient rock engravings, and surreal terrain. You'll arrive at the magnificent Wilderness Doro Nawas Camp with the luxury amenities you require and is the perfect place to drink sundowners with the endless view of rocky plains. If time allows this afternoon your guide will take you to visit the nearby attractions and geological sites of the pre-historic Twyfelfontein rock engravings (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

After an early breakfast, you will drive to an exciting 4x4 excursion along the ephemeral Aba Huab and Huab River valleys to explore this remarkable region and search for game, including the elusive desert-adapted elephants if they are in the area depending on the season. Damaraland is home to a variety of desert-adapted wildlife and hidden desert treasures. As the elephants are mostly active in the mornings, you will normally have the best chance to see them then before returning to camp for lunch. Your guide will arrange to fit in a visit to Twyfelfontein and other nearby attractions at a suitable time if you haven’t already done it on the previous day. On return to the camp, there should be time to take a walk into the local area with your guide if desired, or simply relax and enjoy some well-deserved leisure time.

Your first stop at the phenomenal Etosha region where you will be spending one night in the exclusive Ongava Lodge, which is situated in the privately-owned Ongava Game Reserve along the Southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Today is dedicated to a full day of exciting game viewing within the central section to explore Etosha National Park from your open safari vehicle and we want to make the most of it. The park gates open at sunrise. After having an early scrumptious breakfast, you will aim to be on your way as the sun horizon. The early morning is usually a productive time for game viewing since many predators are active mostly in the morning hours. If you are lucky, then you will spot some of the hunting busy with the prey. You will enjoy lunch en route. After having a nice light lunch, you will continue with your game-viewing drive. Keep a sharp lookout for the game as you drive out from the park since the park gates are closed at sunset. You will freshen up for dinner and after dinner, you will spend your time watching game coming and going at the floodlit waterhole at the lodge. The rest of the night can be spent on your siesta.
