Day 1

After breakfast, the tour starts. The first stop is Arusha town for any last-minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterward, you will head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight camping.

After a morning wake-up, indulge in a hearty breakfast and pack your belongings into the safari jeep. Embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti with a packed lunch in tow.

Experience an evening game drive in Central Serengeti, capturing the mesmerizing sunset. Later, dine and spend the night at Seronera Campsite within the heart of Serengeti.

Serengeti's main attractions include its vast plains and the remarkable wildebeest migration, a spectacle involving herbivores and their predator counterparts. Today marks the descent into the Ngorongoro Caldera, saving the best for the last day of your adventure. Following breakfast with panoramic views of the crater, your 4-wheel drive vehicle will transport you 2000ft down into the crater. Covering 8300sq km, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the world's largest volcanic caldera and is often hailed as one of the Wonders of the World. Its appeal lies not only in its geological splendor but also in its role as an extraordinary natural haven for some of Africa's most significant populations of large mammals. Post-lunch, we bid farewell to the park, beginning the journey back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning, we'll set course for Lake Manyara, embarking on a full-day game drive in this picturesque region. Renowned for its awe-inspiring panoramic vistas, cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear brooks, and thermal springs, Lake Manyara is a gem nestled between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and the lake itself. The park's allure is attributed to its diverse array of wildlife, spanning grasslands, forests, and water. Notably, Lake Manyara boasts a significant population of water birds, numbering over 400 species, including the elegant flamingos and majestic pelicans. The park is also home to sizable herds of elephants, giraffes, hippos, water buffalos, and the graceful impalas. As the afternoon draws to a close, we'll journey to Arusha for your accommodation or provide drop-off at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport.
