Zanzibar to Lake Manyara National Park

After landing at Arusha Airport, our safari team will warmly welcome you and begin a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania. The journey to Lake Manyara National Park takes approximately two hours. Located along the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, diverse wildlife, and stunning scenery. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. In the afternoon, you will stop for about 40 minutes at a picturesque picnic site with restroom facilities to enjoy your lunch. Later, depart the park and travel to Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural experience, including tasting local foods and traditional drinks before continuing to your accommodation.

Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar

On the second day, you will have breakfast, then we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier we go, the more we increase our odds of seeing all the Big Five animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is a beautiful caldera with a ring-like wall surrounding it. This 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) area is home to more than 30,000 animals and more than 500 species of birds. Proceeding with a game drive in the afternoon, we will take a 40-minute stop for lunch and bathroom use at a picnic site near a hippo pool. After lunch, we will drive back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will catch a plane to Zanzibar. Arrival in Arusha will be between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm.

Duration: 7 to 8 hours.
