On your first day of the safari you will be picked from your hotel or Airport in Dar es Salaam and start your safari to the well knowned UNESCO World Heritage Site the Nyerere National Park which was known as Selous Game Reserve. It is quite near to Dar es Salaam. You will have lunch late afternoon arriving in your lodge. Then late evening go for boat safari in Rufiji River be back at the lodge after the sunset and you will choose lodge(bandas)/tented room. Dinner and Overnight will be at Selous Safari Lodge.

Day 2

The Nyerere National Park (Selous) is the largest National Park in Africa where its area seems to be more than the size of Switzerland and you will be amazed with its full of wild animals and a number of birds’ species.
Apart from lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, impala, hartebeests, pythons, elands, but it is where the rarest wild dogs can be observed but only if ones lucky can be able to see these rare unbelievable hunters of the African Wilderness. Different from the Northern parts of Tanzania where animals and birds are calmer and domestic but here animals are more jumpy.
It has been recorded that more than 500 bird species can be observed in Selous Game Reserve. On this second day you will embark out of the park, late afternoon you will have a little rest, then be back for night game drive, on the night we have high possibilities of spotting wildcats and you will go for another fullday game drive and Overnight stay at selous safari lodge.

Day 3

Wake up in the morning have breakfast, you will head to the bush walking safari, there you will find a bushman who will guide you for the walking tour in the bush and get an experience about animals footprints, medicine trees, monkeys, the life style of the bush people and how to survive in the bush. After the bush walking we start our journey heading to Morogoro and on the way you will be able to see Uluguru mountains and beautiful landscape, and have a city tour in Morogoro which it’s a famous agricultural city in Tanzania. Your Night will be spent at Morogoro hotel allocated near Uluguru mountains.

Day 4
Morogoro to Mikumi national park
Morogoro to Mikumi national park
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and continue the safari to Mikumi national park. The Mikumi and Selous Game Reserve, the two areas forming a unique ecosystem you can’t miss to visit, On arrival at Mikumi National Park start experiencing your first game drive in Mikumi National Park until later in the afternoon when you will be served picnic lunch. The landscape of Mikumi is often matched to that of the Serengeti. It consists of savannah landscape with acacia, baobab, tamarinds.
Mikumi National Park has quite less developed infrastructure but that what makes the park even better and unique because that has helped in preserving the wilderness in its natural and untouched state for many years, Overnight at Camp Bastian.

After breakfast we will go for a tour on maasai village after that we have game drive in Mikumi National Park later afternoon heading back to Dar es Salaam.
