Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National park

Depart Arusha and begin driving toward Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and bolt hole for an unusually large elephant population. Sublime baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, exceeding the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Lunch boxes will be provided at the picnic point. Enjoy a game drive, then dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast and lunch at LakeBurunge Tented Lodge Depart to Tarangire NP and begin driving toward Arusha City, along the way you can opt with your driver guide for a stop at Culture Shope for Arts and Postcards or even Tanzanite Gems which can only be found in Tanzania for self gifted or buying for friends on your way back home.
