Day 1

Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Jro) – Moshi

Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Jro) – Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet your Guide and will take you to Weru weru Lodge in Moshi for check in and then we will drive to marangu gate for a short walking to water falls. Your personal and experienced Guide not only knows a lot about the Tanzanian culture, but can also tell you a lot about the beautiful national parks and sights of the country. So don’t be afraid to ask your Guide questions – he will be happy to answer them all.
This trip is an exclusive private safari so you can enjoy your trip to the fullest! You can decide for yourself when to leave in the morning and when to return in the evening. You can also observe a specific animal or herd for as long as you like during the safari. You don’t have to be considerate of anyone. Your personal guide will advise you during the safari so that your trip will be an unforgettable experience. Tomorrow morning your safari will begin!

Day 2

Moshi – Tarangire National Park

Early morning pick up from Moshi (Weru Weru Lodge) with a packed lunch boxes and drive further through the Maasai Steppe via Makuyuni Junction and over down to the Tarangire National Park. This is now the fifth largest park, of all parks in Tanzania, and the Tarangire National Park is dotted with amazingly big Baobab trees and the extraordinary large herds of elephants; Tarangire is quite a place not to miss while on your African safari to Tanzania if you are a lover of the jumbos or other general large game. The park is home to many animal species and some rare breeds like the Oryx and hirolas, and some rare birds species. Later in the afternoon we drive out of the park and check in transfer to Karatu where you will check in a lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation at Eileen’s Tree Lodge (Full Board).

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro Crater with our packed lunch. After arriving at the crater rim you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This collapsed volcano creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation. Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. Thereafter, you will drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After the great breakfast at our lodge, you will have a walk to the National Natural History Museum of Arusha. Also known as the Old Boma Museum, this old fort, which was built by the Germans in the early part of the 20th Century is now home to the National Natural History Museum. Divided into three parts, the museum houses an exhibit on the evolution of mankind, as well as displays of fossils, stuffed animals and plenty of historical photographs. Then we will have a walk to the center of town, you’ll find the Maasai Market. It is pretty touristy and one of the favorite things to do in Ausha and you’ll find a great array of souvenirs on offer, such as paintings, clothing, jewellery and furniture. There’s a lot to spend your money on and everything from wood carvings, to food, jewellery, animals and household items. Then we will drive to Planet Lodge for lunch. We will relax for some hours before drive to airport at 6pm to back home.
