Chisa is the Nyanja word for ‘birds nest’, and the rooms were inspired by the weaver bird nests that decorate the trees here. Sitting on a small tree-lined island, the camp uses only solar power as do the game drive vehicle and bicycles used to explore the watery dambos beyond.

Transfer to South Luangwa

Transfer to South Luangwa

The team at the lodge will discuss departure time with you for your flight to South Luangwa National Park. On arrival at Mfuwe airport you will be met by your guide for a road transfer to Shawa Camp. Shawa Luangwa Camp is a small, eco-friendly bush camp overlooking the Luangwa River in the Nsefu Sector.
