Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, we embark on a descent of 600m into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater for a morning half-day game drive. Renowned as one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas globally, the crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. With a constant water supply and abundant fodder, the crater supports a diverse range of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
This picturesque national park is also famous for its high concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a keen eye to spot. A picnic lunch within the crater enhances the experience before we proceed to Tarangire National Park. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite, with full board included.
