Day 1

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your Entebbe hotel for the transfer to Nakiwogo, where you’ll meet your professional birding guide. Enjoy a serene canoe ride through Mabamba Swamp, home to the rare Shoebill Stork and a variety of other wetland bird species. After birdwatching, rejoin your driver at the Mabamba Ramsar site and continue your journey to Kayabwe, the location of the iconic Equator Line. Here, you’ll have a chance to take memorable photos while standing in both hemispheres and learn about the Earth’s rotation experiment. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing to Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital. Upon arrival, check in at 2 Friends Guesthouse or a similar lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to the River Nile for an exciting whitewater rafting adventure. Whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced rafter, professional guides will ensure a safe yet exhilarating experience as you navigate through the roaring rapids and calm scenic sections of the Nile. A riverside barbecue lunch will be provided midway, allowing you to relax and take in the spectacular river views.
