Day 1
OR Tambo to Sabi Sand
OR Tambo to Sabi Sand
You will leave on your Kruger and Sabi Sand safari from Johannesburg (pick-up only at O.R. Tambo International Airport). Your pick-up is at 6:30 am in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. A 6 to 7-hour drive will amaze you when entering the scenic Lowveld, so keep your cameras ready.
You can be picked up and dropped off from Skukuza (the nearest airport) at any time or Nelspruit Airport at 11:00 am. Transfers are available at any time at an extra cost. Lunch is included.
You will go out on a sunset game drive in an open-air safari vehicle in Sabi Sand after settling into your en-suite room close to Shaw's gate of Sabi Sand (included). This game drive will showcase spectacular African wildlife at night. Children under 6 years are not permitted on open vehicle drives.
After the thrilling sunset drive, a 3-course dinner that meets your dietary requirements is served in the outdoor boma, or in the dining area. Alcoholic drinks are at your own cost.

Day 2
Kruger National Park activities
Kruger National Park activities
You will kick the day off early with tea or coffee and light snacks before departing on the morning drive in Kruger National Park where you will view wild animals and search for the Big Five. If preferred, a Sabi Sand morning drive can be done instead (additional cost).
When you return from the morning drive, brunch will be served. A short safari walk can be done in Sabi Sand (included).
In the afternoon, you can enjoy the bar and lounge, swim, nap in your air-conditioned tent, or walk around the grounds at the tented camp.
You will go on an exciting afternoon game drive in the park where you are welcome to take photos and ask the game rangers questions about Kruger’s wildlife and plants. (included)
When you return to the camp for a 3-course dinner around the campfire, stories about different species can be shared. Relax under the night sky while listening to the amazing sounds of animals.

Day 5
Kruger National Park to OR Tambo
Kruger National Park to OR Tambo
Once again, you will kick the day off early with tea or coffee before departing on the morning game drive in Kruger where you will be given in-depth knowledge of the bush by an experienced game ranger. Kruger National Park is renowned for its outstanding leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and rhino sightings. You are often able to get close to the wildlife where you can take excellent photographs.
When you return from the morning game drive, a full cold and hot breakfast will be served.
After breakfast, return to O.R. Tambo International Airport or one of the nearby airports in the area. We advise you to book the safari before flights and to book overnight accommodation in Johannesburg before and after the safari (if possible) to ease the logistical requirements of international flights. Many accommodations in Johannesburg include free airport transfers.
