Drive to Tarangire National Park

You will have breakfast at 7:00am and then be picked up by our driver-guide to commence your safari to Tarangire National Park. The transfer will take 2 hours, followed by a full day game drive. At the park, expect to see hippos, lions, elephants, zebras, pythons, oryx, buffalos, zebras, and more than 450 species of birds.

The name Tarangire originated from the Tarangire River, which winds through the parklands and is the only water source for wildlife here during the dry season. The park is also well-known for its large elephant herds, giant scattered baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah. You will also get a chance to see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.
