Begin your journey westward toward Semliki National Park, renowned for its traditional Sempaya Hotsprings. En route, enjoy a cultural stop at the historic Nakayima Tree in Mubende, a deeply revered traditional shrine linked to the Bachwezi Dynasty. Day 2

Following an early breakfast, transfer to Semuliki National Park to explore the famous Sempaya Hot Springs. These geothermal wonders are divided into two sections — the “Male” (Biteete) and “Female” (Nyasimbi) hot springs — where temperatures can reach over 100°C. Witness the dramatic steam columns and enjoy the fun experience of boiling eggs, green bananas, or Irish potatoes in the hot water for a unique local snack.
After this enriching experience, return to Fort Portal. If time allows, visit the mysterious Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves, steeped in local legend and surrounded by stunning waterfalls and lush landscapes. Accommodation at Kluge’s Guest Farm or similar.

Day 3

After breakfast, proceed to Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guides and researchers, you will track and observe a troop of wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat — watching them feed, socialize, and display their dynamic behaviors.
Following the trek, engage in a Bigodi Swamp walk led by the Bigodi community members. This eco-tour offers a chance to encounter other primates, birds, and gain insights into the local culture and traditions.
In the afternoon, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, a smaller but richly diverse park ideal for wildlife viewing. Accommodation at Rwakobo Rock or similar.

Return to Entebbe via the Equator Line
Return to Entebbe via the Equator Line
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Entebbe. Along the way, make a memorable stop at the Equator Line near Kayabwe, where you can witness a demonstration of the Coriolis effect and take iconic photos straddling the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Continue to Entebbe, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in time for your outbound flight. End of Tour.
