After arriving you will be picked up by a Genau guide from the airport, and conveyed to your accommodation where you will enjoy vibrant gateway to Tanzania's renowned safari destinations, and later be ready to embark on a journey that promises to be both thrilling and culturally enriching. Arusha, nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru, welcomes travelers with its bustling markets, rich history, and a unique blend of urban and natural charm.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Your Safari guide will collect you from your accommodation after breakfast. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park. This journey drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads. Tarangire National Park, is a jewel within Tanzania's safari circuit, unfolds like a canvas of untamed beauty. Renowned for its expansive landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, the park is a haven for diverse wildlife, drawing travelers into an immersive African safari experience. The Tarangire River flows through its heart, attracting an impressive concentration of elephants, creating breathtaking scenes of these majestic creatures against the backdrop of baobabs. Beyond the iconic pachyderms, the park hosts a rich tapestry of wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a myriad of bird species.
After your game drive, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a geological wonder, unfolds as a breathtaking amphitheater of wildlife in northern Tanzania. Nestled within the ancient caldera, this natural sanctuary is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife, showcasing a harmonious coexistence of diverse ecosystems. As one descends into the crater, a mesmerizing panorama reveals itself—lush grasslands, shimmering lakes, and acacia forests, creating an idyllic habitat for an abundance of species, including the elusive black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, and countless flamingos adorning the soda lakes.
Lunch will be at a picnic site on the Crater Floor. After your game drive, you will return to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park, cradled along the Great Rift Valley, captivates with its diverse and compact charm. Famous for its striking landscapes and the eponymous alkaline lake that stretches along its borders, the park offers a unique blend of habitats, from dense woodlands to open grassy plains. The presence of the elusive tree-climbing lions adds a touch of mystique to Manyara's allure, while the baboons, elephants, and an array of birdlife, including flamingos, create a vibrant tapestry of wildlife.
Picnic lunch in the park. After your game drive, you will say farewell to your Guide and will be dropped off at a place of your choosing e.g. Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with Genau Guides Limited!
