1-Day Exploring the Ngorongoro Crater

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

After departing from Arusha in the early morning and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will be rewarded with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Enroute you will visit a Maasai Village, where we learn about the life and beliefs of Tanzania’s nomadic people.

The Ngorongoro Crater, is famous for Africa’s best game viewing as there is an ever present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim we descend 610 meters into the Crater where our safari begins.

At 4:30pm you will begin your journey back to Arusha where your safari ends upon arrival.
