Having arrived at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be flown to Hwange NP and can enjoy a scenic 30-minute flight. Your Hide Safari Camp guide will transfer you on a short game drive to the camp.

The Hide Safari Camp enjoys a spectacular location on the Kennedy Vlei line on which its own waterhole and underground viewing hide are positioned. In the drier months, large herds of elephant, buffalo, giraffe and antelope congregate here to drink.

Hwange is 14,500 sq. km and has some of the highest diversity of wildlife for any park in Africa. This park has over 40,000 elephant and strong populations of predators such as lion, leopard, hyena, some cheetah and African wild dog, as well as the rare sable and roan antelope.

During the 3 days at The Hide, you will enjoy excellent guided game drives and the opportunity of guided walking safaris to fully immerse yourself in the wonder of the African savannah and its ecosystems. The Hide also offers night drives on its private concession.

Victoria Falls - Chundukwa River Lodge

Having flown from Hwange NP to Victoria Falls Airport, you will be driven on a short trip to Chundukwa River Lodge on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls.

This intimate owner-run retreat has only 6 luxury chalets on stilts, all river-facing onto the mighty Zambezi River, and is 25km upstream of Victoria Falls. Your stay includes a daily activity from a choice of sunrise and sunset boat cruises, a Victoria Falls day trip, a horse ride (for all levels), a Zambezi lunchtime floating picnic, bush walks and mountain bike rides.

Bucket-list experiences popular in Victoria Falls are a helicopter "Flight of Angels", white-water rafting, swimming in the Devil's Pool on Livingstone Island, tracking rhino in nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, or visiting the local village to engage in local culture.

Conservation and community are at the core of Chundukwa's values. Menus are guided by what is available in the garden and local community to serve a farm-to-fork philosophy of wholesome food.

On day 6 of your safari, you will be driven across the new Kazungula Bridge into Botswana. Your Muchenje Safari Lodge guide will transfer you on a 45-minute game drive into camp.

Muchenje is superbly located in the more exclusive western part of Chobe NP, with panoramic views over the Chobe floodplain and river below it. Guided game drives, boat cruises, mokoro rides (in season), guided walks, and night drives are all on offer from this long-established owner-run luxury lodge.

Enjoy a full-day excursion into the park, along with a boat trip on the Chobe River. Their small, private boat will spend 2.5 hours exploring the river. The guides know where the elephants prefer to congregate, drink, and cross to Sedudu Island. On the way there, they will explore the banks, trees, and pools to show the guests the other wonderful wildlife that frequents the Chobe River. Guests enjoy a delicious picnic whilst witnessing the elephants gathering on the banks.
