Zanzibar to Lake Manyara National Park

Our safari crew will meet you at the Arusha airport and take you for a leisurely drive through a picturesque area. The journey to the park gate takes about two hours. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara is also a fantastic park in the Rift Valley. We will stop for a 40-minute break in the afternoon at a lovely picnic area with restrooms, where you will also enjoy lunch. We will depart the park in the late afternoon and go to Mto Wa Mbu, stopping at the town to sample the cuisine and beverages before moving on to Jungle Pearl for lodging.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro crater

On the second day, you will have breakfast, then we will proceed with driving to Ngorongoro crater. The earlier we go the better we increase our chances of seeing all the big 5 animals. The Ngorongoro crater is a beautiful caldera with a ring-like wall surrounding it, this 260 km square land is home to more than 30,000 animals and more than 500 species of birds. Proceeding with a game drive in the afternoon we will take a 40 mins stop for lunch and bathroom use at a picnic site near a hippo pool. After lunch, we will start our drive back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro airport where you will catch a plane to Zanzibar. Arrival in Arusha will be expected from 04;30 pm to 05;00 pm.
