Day 1

Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, brief you about the safari, and drive you to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Nairobi -Maasai Mara drive is via the panoramic Great Rift Valley with views of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements. Along the safari route – there shall be stops to view exciting attractions, including the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Arrival at the Masai Mara shall be in time for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, You'll head out for an afternoon game drive at the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the eighth wonder of the world, the Great wildebeest migration. Here, we'll be looking for many animals, such as lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, lions, cape buffalos, cheetahs, Elephants, and many more.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Malaika Camp.

Day 2

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, as today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world. It hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other regional wildlife park. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Another day full of wildlife viewing drives

You may choose to have the full-day game drives or game drives in separate sessions (morning and afternoon game drives) so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities. The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on your preferences.

It is also an opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch the game (at extra cost)

Day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “.

You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi or drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your back home.
