Your driver-guide will pick you up from the airport, hotel, or residence and provide a brief overview of the itinerary. You will then drive through central Kenya to Samburu. The picturesque countryside will be a lovely introduction to the country as you watch everyday life played out in the towns and villages that line the roads.
Upon entering Samburu, you will immediately have the opportunity to start spotting the stunning animals you have come to visit. This short game drive will take you to your accommodation in the park. After lunch, a more extensive game drive will be undertaken.
Samburu boasts riverine forests and a landscape you won’t encounter again as you progress through your safari. This is your first chance to explore and become acquainted with the fauna of these grasslands.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.

Day 2

You'll enjoy breakfast and head out for a game drive. Because it might get hot during the day, we recommend having a morning to early afternoon game and an evening game drive. During this time, most animals are active, and you are assured to spot as many animals as possible.
Samburu's landscape is dominated by the volcano of the same name, which will be the backdrop to your exploration of this park.
The neighboring park of Shaba will also form part of your day's game drive. Its challenging landscape will add to the genuine African safari experience. The rugged park, dotted with trees and characterized by rolling grasslands, features beautiful landscapes where nature unfolds its cycles.

Day 3

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out, and then embark on a morning game drive before exiting the reserve.
You will arrive at Aberdares National Park in time for lunch, which will be preceded by a relaxing visit to the waterhole. Here you can see as many animals coming to quench their thirst at the waterhole. The decks and balconies of this place overlook a watering hole and salt lick, offering plenty of wildlife to observe. Over 250 bird species are found in this park, many of which are on display, along with elephants, hippos, waterbucks, and numerous other animals.

Day 4

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out, and later embark on a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is approximately a 3-4 hour drive.
You'll arrive in time for check-in and enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, embark on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird-watching paradise, home to many pink-colored flamingos that can be spotted on the shores of Lake Nakuru. During the game drive, you will encounter a variety of animals that inhabit the park, including flamingos, white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and many more.

Day 5

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out, and embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before departing the park.
Later, set off for Masai Mara National Reserve, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. You'll arrive in time for lunch and check-in.
Later in the afternoon, you'll head out for an afternoon game drive at the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the eighth wonder of the world, the great wildebeest migration. Here, you'll be looking for many animals, such as lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, cape buffalos, cheetahs, elephants, and many more.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 6

Enjoy an early breakfast, as today will be a game-viewing extravaganza!
You'll traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the Big Five and more of the lesser game. The Masai Mara National Reserve remains one of the most exciting wildlife ecosystems in the world. It hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other regional wildlife park. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities.
You will have a picnic lunch by the Mara River as we watch hippos and crocodiles, or maybe the great migration (July – October).
Dinner and our overnight stay are at the Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 7

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before checking out. Afterward, you'll embark on a visit to a Masai village, where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Masai people. This experience includes the opportunity to engage in traditional singing and dancing, allowing you to connect with the community and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life.
Later, begin your journey to Nairobi. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano, a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong'ot, meaning "mountains of many spurs" or "steep ridges ".
You'll arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch, and later, the driver guide will ensure you are dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or the airport in time for your flight back home.
