Between December and April, the fertile plains become birthing grounds, offering unforgettable sightings of newborn animals and dramatic predator interactions. This calving season attracts a high concentration of predators, making it an exceptional time for wildlife viewing.
With Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek providing vital water sources, the region stays rich in wildlife even during the dry season. Ndutu is also known for hosting all six species of Africa’s big cats—lion, leopard, cheetah, serval, caracal, and African wildcat.
