Day 1

Tarangire National Park - The Elephant's paradise

You will be picked up by your Mazingira Safari's driver guide after breakfast and start your drive to Tarangire National Park. This transit drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads. Later you will reach at park and start exploring. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, lions, leopards and more breeding species of birds will be seen in a day drive at this park.
After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation for evening leisure, dinner and an overnight.

Day 2

Wake up for the early breakfast in your accommodation, later you will depart with your lunch heading to Serengeti National Park, the famous park with its vast open grasslands that allows excellent sightings of wildlife. The climate and vegetation here remained largely untouched for millions of years. Although the Serengeti boasts rich wildlife, it is perhaps well known for the annual Great Migration where vast numbers of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The timing of the Migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year. After an extensive game drive, we head for our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Another dedicated day for the full time drive in Central Serengeti park, a well-known place for wildlife sanctuary in the world and the heart of Serengeti. This part is the richest for wildlife habitats including the so called Big Five, elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and black rhinos. For bird lovers over 500 bird species have been recorded here including vultures, owls, bustards, cranes and secretary birds.
For the option of adding balloon, (extra balloon charges applies) it starts early in the morning in which you will be picked up from the lodge at 05:00 and the balloon will start flying around 06:00hrs, enjoy the viewing of the animals from above. After a well experience you will land and have a celebration of a well prepared breakfast and Champagne. Then later your driver will pick you and continue with the game.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will proceed with the game toward Ngorongoro crater, one of the world’s natural wonder. Ngorongoro is thought to be formed about 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the present vast, unbroken caldera as its chief remnant. The co—habitation of man and animal makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania. Your experienced driver guide will explain more about this incredible life. The crater floor water supports a residents’ population of more than 25000 large animals including Elephants, lions, leopard, hyena, jackal, wallowing hippo, waterbuck, and baboons. If luck you can also spot the rare black rhinos. Later you ascend from the crater and proceed to your accommodation for an overnight.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Depart after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park, the famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. It is only 205sq miles in size, this park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees which are a home to troops of baboons and blue monkey. The shallow alkaline lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is a home to thousands of flamingos during the rain seasons. Other animals can be seen here including giraffes, elephants, impalas and the hippos.
Later you will drive back to Arusha.
