Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by one of our safari representatives. After the briefing, you will head further south into the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. You will then get ready for your afternoon game drive, which will take place from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. You will have a chance to explore the savanna in search of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) in this wonderful game reserve.

Other popular animals include zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, and more. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the Mara after breakfast. You will get a packed lunch and a picnic in the wild. Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for being host to the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Millions of wildebeests cross over the Mara River every year from the Serengeti in search of grazing pastures.

As they make their way across the Mara River, some of them are eaten by the hungry crocodiles awaiting them on the river banks (from mid-June till the end of October).
