Day 1

Nairobi -Masai Mara National Reserve

Your tour begins with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. You will then proceed to our office to finalize payments and meet the rest of the group before departing for the Maasai Mara. The drive takes approximately 6 hours, with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley for photos and views. You will arrive in the Maasai Mara shortly after noon and check in at your camp. Enjoy a hot lunch, then depart for an evening game drive in the reserve. After the game drive, you will return to the camp to freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay: enchoro wildlife camp

Note: The final one-hour drive to the Maasai Mara is on a corrugated and bumpy road and may be uncomfortable for guests with back problems.

After an early breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. A safari in the Maasai Mara is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya, offering breathtaking panoramas, abundant wildlife, and an authentic African wilderness experience. The reserve is home to an incredible variety of animals, including the Big Five, as well as a rich cultural heritage in the surrounding Maasai communities. Without doubt, the Maasai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest safari destinations.

Between July and September, the reserve becomes especially dramatic during the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing lands. Following closely behind are predators such as lions and leopards, creating one of nature’s most spectacular displays. Dinner and overnight: enchoro wildlife camp.

After breakfast in the camp, you will have an opportunity for a cultural tour which is known as Maasai village tour as well as enriching you with the different amazing cultural practices of the local communities of Maasai people. Then we’ll depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay at buraha zenoni resort.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds. About 350 species are recorded. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Late in the afternoon, drive to Then we’ll depart for Nairobi arriving early in the evening and be dropped at the Nairobi hotel or nairobi airport.
