Pick up from Entebbe and arrival

You will be picked up by a tour guide in our brand's 4WD vehicle and head straight to the southwest via Mbarara-Kabale Road. The long journey is not noticed as a vista of the scenic landscape of the west. Reaching Mgahingaa National Park in the evening, you will check in at your booked hotel in Mgahinga National Park, where you will enjoy the rest and refreshment from the journey, plus a night's rest to rejuvenate for the next trekking day.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast in the restaurant of your lodge, and after that hearty meal, the tour guide will drive you to the Uganda Wildlife Headquarters in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. You will be given gorilla trekking tips, rules, and regulations to help you be safe on safari and to fully maximize your experience. You will enjoy the muddy trails with the smell of raw earth and the different bird species, among others. With a chance, you can even find a forest elephant. When you find your gorilla family, you will be allowed a maximum of 60 minutes to interact with the gentle giants in their natural environment. However short the gorilla encounter may be, the experience may last, and the time is regarded as the most rewarding journey to Uganda. From the gorilla trekking, you will head back to the lodge, where you will rest from the full day of trekking in the forest, preparing for another journey to Kampala.

Departure to Entebbe

You will wake up to another hearty breakfast, and you will embark on your journey to Kampala. But before that, you will have time to go back to your room, organize your travel bags, checkout, and get on the road back to Kampala. The return journey to Entebbe is spiced up with time enjoy the stopovers at different spots for photography and lunch before reaching Entebbe where the driver will drop you off your flight back home.
