Our driver guide will meet you at the airport or hotel. After customs procedures and briefing, we drive to Samburu National Reserve and check in at your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive. This is the best time of day to view nocturnal hunters who prepare for their nightly expeditions. Begin your first game drive in Samburu, where you'll have the chance to spot unique wildlife such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and the elusive leopard.

Samburu Extensive Game Viewing

After breakfast, have a full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives at the reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species—the rare reticulated giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned beisa oryx antelope and many more wildlife encounters.
