Your driver guide will meet and pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport. From here, embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. In Tarangire, you will see giant baobab trees, bush savannahs, and seasonal marshes, all adding to the wonder of this spectacular park. The Tarangire National Park is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then, but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the evening, you reach your lodge inside the park.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti, and at midday, you will reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes—short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for its yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water.

Serengeti National Park
The balloon safari over the Serengeti plains starts around 4:00am. You will be picked up by the balloon team and join other guests at the landing site. The two-hour flight ensures spectacular game viewing! After landing, you will enjoy breakfast and continue with a game drive in Serengeti. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Depart from Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon to continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will notice the Masai community's traditional lifestyle during the journey. Your overnight stay is at Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, you will descend 600m to the crater floor. The crater is a massive collapsed volcano and home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) to spotted hyenas, warthogs, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch at the hippo pool, you will leave the caldera in the late afternoon. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Motto Cottages, near Mto wa Mbu.

Mto wa Mbu to Lake Eyasi and Arusha/Moshi
After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, where you will get a chance to experience the Datoga culture. On the way to Arusha, you will pass by a Masai boma and be introduced to the Masai culture. Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha, ready to catch your flight to your next destination. Should you wish to stay overnight in Arusha or Moshi, this can be arranged.
