Remarkably, many cheetahs exhibit such familiarity that they seek refuge from the scorching sun beneath vehicles, with some even ascending to the roof for an enhanced view of potential prey.
For bird enthusiasts, the reserve boasts a diverse avian population with almost 500 recorded species, including 16 types of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 varieties of bustards (featuring the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
