5-Day Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls Combo

Arrival in Victoria Falls, Sunset Cruise & Boma Dinner

Our guide will meet and transfer you to the hotel in Victoria Falls—only 21km and 15 to 20 minutes of safe driving.
Relax for a few hours after check-in before partaking in our sunset boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River with lots of drinks and snacks (all complimentary), just to get you to settle down after the long flight.

The boat trip is a 2-hour tour starting at about 4:00 pm and ending at 6:30 pm, return transfers are included.

Dinner will be at the award-winning Boma Restaurant with loads of traditional entertainment—traditional dancing, fortune telling, and drumming shows. Return transfers are included too!

Your overnight will be at the Elephant Hills Resort (or similar) on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Guided Falls Tour, Village Tour and Optional Tours

Your guide will meet you at 8:00 a.m. for the guided tour of Victoria Falls. This is a 2-hour trip that will take you to the falls via the big baobab tree and ends at the open curio market.

At 11:00 am, we will pick you up for the African village tour, again a 2-hour trip that will take you to the village where you will get to meet the locals in their daily dance for survival. They will be happy to show you around their homes and even sample their meals. Feel free to ask as many questions as possible.

You will be in town at around 1:00 p.m. in time for lunch, and you will have the rest of the afternoon free for optional tours or just to relax by the pool and have a few drinks.

Make your own dinner arrangements.

Your overnight stay will be at the Elephant Hills Resort (or similar) on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Boat Cruise and Game Drive In Chobe National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel at 07H30 for the full-day safari in the Chobe NP of Botswana. We have a good chance of seeing the game as we drive through the Zambezi National Park for 70 km to the Botswana border.

Our safaris start with a three-hour game cruise on the Chobe River. Most animals favor drinking in the morning and this is our chance to see them as they come to the river for the morning drink. There are also lots of crocodiles, hippos, and birdlife to satisfy any birders' cravings.

Buffet lunch will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge.

After lunch, it will be time for another 3 hours of game viewing in the Chobe National Park in custom-made 4x4 safari vehicles. We will visit the upper Chobe River which is not accessible by boat. This is where we mainly see the shy predators and at times on their kill. We will leave the park at about 4:00 p.m. for the drive back to Victoria Falls in our comfortable air-conditioned minibusses.
