Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, you will receive a short briefing before starting the safari. You will depart at 8:30 with a short stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will arrive in Narok town for an early lunch. Later, you will arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the late afternoon for check-in and to freshen up. You will go on a game drive from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the camp, you will proceed with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. You will have time to visit the Mara River to see the big crocodiles and hippos. Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will have breakfast and check out. Then, you will leave your camp and proceed to Lake Nakuru. You have the option of a boat ride on Lake Naivasha (a freshwater lake) to see hippos and many birds (at an additional cost). Later, you will drive to Hotel CityMax in Nakuru where you will arrive in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

You will have breakfast at the hotel and check out before 8 am. You will then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. You will visit the rhinoceros sanctuary to see the endangered black and white rhinos and search for the pink flamingos on the lake. During this tour, you will also drive to the Baboon Cliff for a thrilling view of the baboons. You will depart from Lake Nakuru at around 11:00 am and arrive in Naivasha in time for a hot lunch. You'll spend the afternoon and evening at leisure with an option to drive to the lake for an optional boat ride at an extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Taphe Guest Resort.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

You will depart from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Hell’s Gate where you decide whether you want to cycle or enjoy a drive. Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the places in Kenya where you can walk alongside wild animals as there are no predators. You can take great pictures with an animal background as you descend to the Hell’s Gate Gorge. At the gorge, you can enjoy a guided nature walk with the local guides to spice up your Kenyan safari memories.

You'll depart from Hell's Gate and have an en-route lunch. You'll arrive at Kimana Amboseli Camp before sunset for check-in and relaxation. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

This day is one of the highlights of this safari. Amboseli National Park is home to large herds of elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After leaving Amboseli, you will have 3 options; drive to the Kenya-Tanzania Namanga Border, drive to catch a bus to Mombasa, or return to Nairobi.
