Herds of up to 300 elephants scour the dry riverbed, searching for other streams in this national park. Masses of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, eland, hartebeest, and wildebeest reduce lagoon levels. It is the only location in Tanzania where dry-country antelope like the regal fringe-eared oryx and unusual long-necked gerenuk are commonly spotted. Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will head into the lush highlands, where the Iraqi people cultivate corn, wheat, and coffee. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a breathtakingly beautiful crater formed by a volcano's explosion 3 million years ago. Before continuing to Serengeti National Park, you will witness the amazing emptiness of the Ngorongoro Caldera. Serenget, in Maa, the Maasai language, means "endless plain." You'll arrive at the Serengeti by late evening.

The largest park in Tanzania is the Serengeti National Park, which features a variety of environments and landforms, including lakes, savannahs, grassy plains, marshes, and mountains. The largest zebra and wildebeest migration occurs here, and depending on the season, you may see thousands of animals making their way toward water and nourishment. After a lengthy wildlife drive, you will proceed to Heritage Tented Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will get the first look at what awaits you the next day when you reach the crater's edge; shimmering streams, wide-open grasslands, and an endless supply of wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will tour the Ngorongoro Crater and then return to Arusha.

For those who rise early, a sunrise over the crater's edge is a sight to behold. Following a substantial breakfast, you will travel into the crater by the daring track. One of the Seven Wonders of Africa, this UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts one of the most amazing ecosystems on the planet. It originated from a tremendous volcanic explosion that occurred millions of years ago. It spans around 260 square kilometers and is 610 meters deep.

Out of all Tanzanian parks, the crater provides the best game viewing because of its rich animal population, estimated at 25,000. In only a few minutes, you can witness wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and a few of the region's more than 500 bird species. If fortune favors you, you can also view the critically endangered black rhinoceros through the grass.

After lunch, you will climb the crater's steep walls and spend the night in Arusha.
