Day 2

Breakfast will be served early in the Morning, after which you will check out of the hotel and head out for Samburu National Reserve. You will have an enroute scenic drive in Aberdare National Park to enjoy the sweeping viewsw around the Aberdares.

You will arrive at Lion's Cave Camp in time for lunch, after which you will go for an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. During the game drive, you will encounter Elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and various bird species. Samburu is known for it's rare wildlife such as the Somali Otsritch, the grevy's Zebra, The Reticulated Giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx.

You will return to the camp later in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

All-Day Exploring the Treasures of Samburu National Reserve

Breakfast will be served early in the morning at the camp, after which you will leave with your packed lunch to start your adventure in the Samburu National Reserve.

You will do an entire day game drive in the reserve. Samburu National Reserve is a sanctuary known for its diverse and unique ecosystem. It features arid landscapes, the Ewaso Ng'iro River, and acacia-dotted plains. The reserve is renowned for its rare species like Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali Ostrich. Be sure to dress down, caryy suncreen lotion and hat, and goggles as it gets very hot during the day, and conversely chilly during the night.

You will have a picnic lunch around lunchtime and continue with your game drive. Samburu offers a less crowded safari experience compared to other parks, making it an appealing destination for nature enthusiasts.

After enjoying a full day game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will check out of the camp and start your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, conveniently located inside the park.

After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and flamingos. The park is renowned for its vast flocks of flamingos and its pink hue caused by the algae that the flamingos feed on. This creates a stunning sight against the backdrop of the surrounding savannah and acacia.

After the game drive, you will check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, where you will enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.
