Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our driver-guide at 7:00am. We will then head to Masai Mara, make a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, and pass through Narok town. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, lunch will be served, followed by a late afternoon game drive. You will then have dinner and stay overnight at Mara Chui Resort.

Extended Game Drive in Masai Mara

A full day will be spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and others, including lions and elephants. You will visit the Mara River, which borders Kenya and Tanzania. There, you will have a chance to see hippos and enormous Nile crocodiles, who wait for prey as the wildebeest cross the river during their annual quest to find new pastures. The wildebeest pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River, they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Chui Resort.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After an early morning breakfast, you have the option to visit the Masai village. Later, we will depart from Masai Mara, taking in the last picturesque views of the Mara before arriving in Nairobi late afternoon. Depending on the arrangements for the end of the safari and to connect with your homeward-bound flight, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
