Your private guide from Lucas’ African Adventures will be waiting with a welcoming smile to pick you up at Airport. Relax in your comfortable Alphard as he takes you to Arusha city for a brief city tour where by you will get a chance to visit maasai market or local markets to buy some fruits of your choice. Later in the evening your driver will take you to your accommodation for relaxation and overnight stay. You may have your pre-safari briefing today, if not it will take place early tomorrow morning.

Day 2

Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro

Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will depart to Kilimanjaro`s waterfalls Materuni, the place is blessed with green vegetation which originates from Kilimanjaro water springs hence making it the best place for coffee and Banana plantations. You`ll pass through coffee and banana plantation, enjoying the nature of the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and visit the waterfalls, get an explanation and enjoy swimming if you like to. On our way back to Arusha we will pass Chemka Hotsprings to enjoy swimming in the hot spring. Have chips mayai, barbecue for lunch and Swing and jump into the hot ponds and back to Arusha.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast. We depart to Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Overnight will be inside the park.

Tarangire National Park to Mto Wa Mbu

Tarangire National Park to Mto Wa Mbu

We will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our short game viewing drive in Tarangire where there are more breeding species of birds. Home to Tanzania's largest population of elephants, Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat – from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls. After that we`ll transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for biking safari which you will get a feel of the local flavor of Mto Wa Mbu’s eclectic mix of cultures. Mountain biking ride through the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu. On this ride you visit local farms, schools, church, milling machine a local bar and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant village.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

We will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on our game viewing drive to explore this incredible park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, wildebeest and antelope. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, we may see the predators, such as leopard, cheetah, and lion plying their rough trade. After a full day of beautiful experience we`ll have a packed lunch we depart for our overnight stay.

This entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are. The Serengeti National Park is the most famous park in Tanzania which is known all over the world. It is renowned for its boundless lowlands with great wildlife diversity including the migration of the wildebeests, the pride of lions and the other raiders, such as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals and crocodiles.

Ngorongoro Crater

You'll have a morning farewell game drive in Serengeti National Park game drives where you will see many different landscapes found in the Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro Crater. You will have an opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino and large families of lions. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha City

Enjoy early morning and farewell game drives through the Ngorongoro plains. Your driver guide will take you down to the large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and different bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grass. Late in the afternoon you will drive back to Arusha.
